World of Warcraft Tips & Secrets

The Darkmoon Faire comes once a month, generally the first Monday.  It travels between Terokkar Forest, Mulgore, and Elwynn Forest.  In that order.  Barkers will arrive in Shattrath, Orgimmar, and Ironforge to announce it’s arrival.

Card Decks
Darkmoon Card Decks can be created by Inscriptionist, or dropped in various high end dungeons.  To complete a set you will need the Ace through Eight.  Combine the nine cards and turn them into Professor Thaddeus Paleo.  High level decks can be turned in for an epic trinket and low level decks will result in more modest items.  Any deck will result in reputation gained with the Darkmoon Faire.

World of Warcraft -  Beasts – Elementals – Portals – Warlords

Burning Crusade -  Furies – Storms – Blessings – Lunacy

Wrath of The Lich King -  Chaos – Nobles – Prisms – Undeath

Ticket Rewards
Your tickets can be turned in for rewards.  Depending on your level, you can get a prize package, or other goodies.  The two most notable being Orb of the Darkmoon and Amulet of the Darkmoon.  You won’t be offered rewards that are above your level.

Earning Tickets

Ticket turns ins will be offered to you in 5 Tiers.  You can only complete Tiers that are offered to you.

Tier 1 – Gives 1 Ticket, requires level 1, stops at 425 reputation.
Per turn-in:

5 x Small Fury Paw
10 x Coarse Weightstone
5 x Copper Modulator
3 x Embossed Leather Boots

Tier 2 – Gives 4 Tickets, requires level 10, stops at 1100 reputation.
Per turn-in:

5 x Torn Bear Pelt
7 x Heavy Grinding Stone
7 x Whirring Bronze Gizmo
3 x Toughened Leather Armor

Tier 3 – Gives 8 Tickets, requires level 20, stops at 1625 reputation.
Per turn-in:

5 x Soft Bushy Tail
3 x Green Iron Beacers
36 x Green Firework
3 x Barbaric Harness

Tier 4 – Yields 12 DMF Ticket, requires level 30, cuts off at 2500 reputation.
Per turn-in:

5xVibrant Plume
1 x Big Black Mace
6 x Mechanical Repair Kit
1 x Turtle Scale Leggins

Tier 5 – Yields 20 DMF Ticket, requires level 40, unlimited.
Per turn-in:

10 x Evil Bat Eye
10 x Glowing Scorpid Blood
8 x Dense Grinding Stone
6 x Thorium Widget
8 x Rugged Armor Kit
